Access to our facilities and expertise
ReGEN Biomedical operates as part of the RegMed XB Pilot Factory. Our laboratories, automated platforms and specialised expertise are open to external organisations. This includes companies, start-ups, knowledge institutions, consortia and ecosystem partners.
Access can cover:

We assess every request on the same objective and transparent principles. We look at the fit with our expertise and the technical feasibility of the request. Available capacity plays a role as well. Safety, quality and regulatory requirements are always part of the assessment. Scope and pricing are agreed in writing before any work starts.

ReGEN Biomedical Development Program
Alongside access to our facilities, we fund R&D projects that advance manufacturing technology for regenerative medicine. Through the Development Program, SMEs can apply for targeted funding to develop scalable manufacturing equipment that aligns with our roadmap.
Each call focuses on a specific technological challenge and is assessed by a project advisory board. Below you will find the topics currently open, the application process and the required templates.
This is a separate funding route with its own selection and reporting requirements, and is not the same as requesting access to our facilities.

Scalable Expansion of Human Cells
Through this call, ReGEN Biomedical invites project proposals that address challenges in human Cell culturing by developing, optimizing, and benchmarking dynamic suspension-based expansion processes for human cells relevant to regenerative medicine and advanced cell-based models.
