Asier Martín Cazorla

Asier is the Stem Cell Culture Technician, responsible for the maintenance and preparation of cell cultures to support ongoing research and development projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, specialized in Regenerative Medicine and conducted his research on mesoporous silica nanoparticles for bone tissue engineering. During his thesis, he focused on optimizing nanoparticle-based ion delivery in stem cell spheroids to enhance their osteogenic differentiation, as well as developing a novel 3D bioprinting approach to create osteon-mimicking, cell-laden filaments. Asier is passionate about applying his expertise and creativity to push tissue engineering forward, with the goal of minimizing the use of animal-derived components and eliminating the need for animal testing.
