Jelmer Sijpkes
Junior Automation Engineer
Jelmer Sijpkes is the Junior Automation Engineer at ReGEN Biomedical, contributing to the development and maintenance of the company's automated platform. With a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, he has a strong affinity for using technology in Life Science applications. During his master’s he worked on culturing human cartilage tissue in a mechanically loaded bioreactor set-up. Additionally, he worked on improving mechanical properties for chondrocyte-laden hydrogels for tissue engineering purposes. Jelmer is excited to be at the intersection between healthcare and technology and is determined to make a real-world impact with automated solutions.
